Surabaya Juanda International Airport is located in Sedati, and is 20 km away from Surabaya city center. In Indonesian, it is known as Bandar Udara Internasional Juanda. It is built for serving Surabaya, East Java and the surrounding region. After Jakarta and Bali, this is the third most crowded airport in Indonesia.
There are two terminals at the Surabaya Juanda International Airport. Terminal A is for all international flights and for Garuda Indonesia domestic flights, whereas terminal B is for all other domestic flights.
You will find many modern airport facilities and services from shopping stores to dining venues inside the three-storey terminal building, which was opened in 2006.

Further into the city, at a distance of about 28 km from the airport, you’ll find Suramadu National Bridge. This is a graceful, long bridge running between Surabaya and the island of Madura. The best time to visit this is at night when it is illuminated with bright and colorful lights.
